Whether online or in-person, intake sessions will focus on evaluating clinical, biopsychosocial, and other relevant information to determine the direction of our work. This session does not include traditional talk therapy. Follow-up sessions will then focus on processing and exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Typically, the first follow-up session involves collaborative treatment planning, and these sessions are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly.

No Insurance Policy
— Current Mind Counseling, LLC currently accepts self-pay (private pay) clients only and does not bill insurance directly. However, you may be reimbursed a percentage of your fee, depending on your health care provider’s out of network policy. I am able to submit to you a SUPERBILL, which is a document that has all the information your insurance company needs for reimbursement.
First, you will need to contact your insurance company to find out about your out-of-network benefits. Specifically, you will want to ask them the following:
Do I have out-of-network benefits?
What is my deductible?
What is the reimbursement rate to work with an out-of-network provider?
Let me know if you have further questions.
— Financial Therapy is not covered by insurance by the standard practices of Financial Therapy Association.
